Watched Pyramids tonight - and thoroughly enjoyed it. Often I've been quite down on it, as some kind of oddity, but I found it so singularly thrilling. It's amazing how much happens during it!
Definitely see why people rate it as a classic - it beats Planet of Evil certainly.

Watched Pyramids tonight - and thoroughly enjoyed it. Often I've been quite down on it, as some kind of oddity, but I found it so singularly thrilling. It's amazing how much happens during it!

I'm now reminded of the old horror sets when I was younger - I don't think I had them but they looked so fun. (Plus all the camera trickery stuff in these sets which must have started something in my head)

Annoyingly this weekend I'm under the weather with covid.
But I did manage to start playing my Switch again finally - the remastered version of Metroid Prime, taking me straight back to when I was 11 again. ⭐

Heard the Yellow Submarine soundtrack yesterday, meaning I have finally heard all of the Beatles albums!
I'm getting round to "completing" some of my faves - in no rush, so this month have only just got to listening to all the Madonna albums, and all of Depeche Mode. Still have a few Bowies left.

I've finally got round to watching The Beatles: Get Back. Was put off by the length of it, but I really don't know what you'd cut when all the noodly bits are the gold, aren't they? The spontaneity and jokes and actual changing behind the scenes of it - a real towering achievement of a documentary.

For me this was always balanced out by all the new TV shows starting in September, with the listings magazine rounding up the New Season. Yes even at aged 7.

Should probably explain how the toy car is a scale model of Sarah Jane's Austin Metro... That we found we couldn't get out of the box correctly.
