Boggles the mind that these types argue that because the Russians sailed some (unarmed) ship through the EEZ, that means we should partner up with a military alliance, one of whose members literally ran terrorist organisations that murdered thousands of Irish people and still has bases IN IRELAND.
Well we now know why so much fuss was made of a Russian ship in the EEZ last week.

It is bleakly funny reading todays UK papers & seeing the Treasury claiming that 'diplomacy' ensured they got hit with lower tariffs while economists point out in adjacent articles that it's because the UK has fuck-all trade post-Brexit that they got a low tariff.
