Ugh, I liked Jason Kenney when he was a minister in Harper’s government. He stood out as thoughtful and respectful, even if he disagreed with us. But then he went back to provincial politics, and he absolutely helped create this situation: www.thecanadianpressnews.ca/prairies_bc/...
Over my childhood, I saw the types of crops we were able to grow change. When we could plant them, harvest them, how much equipment we needed, etc. Public agriculture research works hand in hand with growers, and cutting it is a devastating own goal for our economy.
