Dear Glasgow Bluesky friends. My son's girlfriend has a work experience in April/May/June at Glasgow Women's Library and is looking for accomodation (room with cooking possibility). Can anyone give me any leads/tips :-)

By the thrice beshitten diaper of Donnie...
So, in Wolf Hall, Thomas Howard, the Duke of Norfolk, panicking about harm to the prospects of Anne Boleyn marrying Henry VIII, uses the curse: "By the thrice beshitten shroud of Lazarus" and I'm now trying to think of how I might use it in modern conversation.

I love Alan Rickman.

I really don’t enjoy Harry Potter so much. I particularly avoid it now because J. K. Rowling is a monster.

That said, his character Snape was by far the most interesting and most compelling of all of them.

I really fell in love with him in Dogma.

What a beautiful man.
Damn, this quote from Sigourney Weaver (about Alan Rickman) just made me cry.
