The UK, where the day after a decision to take half a million children out of poverty, the media & political world has been full of sneering at those same children & their families, labelling them as ‘Benefits Street’, while the same people are moaning about a tax on £2m mansions. Shameful stuff.

A huge 89% majority of global people [56% even in the United States] want stronger action to fight the #ClimateCrisis, but mistakenly believe they’re in a minority.

People want action. Smart cities are taking action. Nations should support city action.

In 2025 in the UK, 4.5 million children are living in poverty, which is 31% of all children, a record high.

It’s staggering that someone else in our society can go to bed, do absolutely nothing but sleep and be £35,000 richer in the morning - every single day.
Wealth tax should not be a tool to extraxt money from those only moderately wealthy.

It could start at 1% for those with over £10 million, and rise in 1% increments every £milion until all the wealth over £bilion is taxed in its entirety. >

The problem with the "Farage was a racist" story is that we have a "left wing" gov't essentially saying that racism is a normal and expectable response to immigration. We are in a position where we have to argue "why it is wrong to be racist" and Labour need to take some responsibility for it

Only 40% of people cycling in London feels safe when sharing with cars, but 76% feel safe on designated routes.

London needs to do a lot more and a lot quicker.

Compassion is a better investment than greed.
“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

It costs a lot less to house people.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

This is what happens when you put a preening, lazy, populist, dilettante in charge of a country.

Johnson was completely out of his depth and more concerned with his pathetic perceived popularity than leading this country through the greatest crisis since 1939.
