POWERFUL

“The murderers are ICE. They are who we need out of this city. Let us carry on our lives safely and not in fear of being shot. If we help a woman who slips on the ice, as I saw happen earlier today before that man was murdered… let’s say his name, Alex was murdered while he was helping.”

Genuinely think this coverage is worthy of formal complaint – and if the BBC doesn’t take it seriously, it should be escalated to Ofcom.

The appearance of caving to the Trump White House, when the BBC is being sued, could be disastrous for public trust.
The BBC coverage is absolutely terrible.

It leads on "sharply contested narratives"

It has a dramatic skew to the US government

It has posted the video but has failed to report on what it shows: it shows the US govt account is untrue

BREAKING: Trump’s thugs just shot and killed a man in Minneapolis. Eyewitnesses are describing it as an execution.

We cannot keep living like this and people can’t keep dying like this. Stop funding DHS. Impeach Kristi Noem. Hold these agents accountable.

This is the grim, depressing reality Trump has made of American life. Instead of waking up on a Saturday, relaxing and spending time with your loved ones, you now have to watch American towns being ravaged and its citizens being murdered by violent secret police.

ICE shoot a guy dead who they were already piled on top of.

We need trials for these criminals.

How dare the Coward in the White House undermine the bravery and sacrifice of our British troops.

Reform and Nigel Farage should be ashamed to associate themselves with him.

Where's the outrage we saw when Angela Rayner, who paid the wrong amount of tax on a property for her disabled son, & followed poor advice? She had a single breach of code for an amount ~10% of what Farage has tried to tax dodge.

When is he going to be made to resign due to media pressure?

Macron’s allies say it plainly: Brexit is why Starmer is weak with Trump.

Inside the EU, you have leverage, a market of 460m and a trade bazooka.

Outside it, you urge calm while others decide.

Brexit left Britain weak and Trump knows it.

The more erratic the USA becomes, the more useful the UK could be to the EU and vice versa.

It's not a case of one needing the other more. There are strong mutually beneficial reasons for returning to being part of one club, even if the terms of membership have changed.
