This is an excellent breakdown of the legal challenge by POTUS.

Remembrance Day is now dominated by performative nonsense. You don't need a house sized poppy and a model spitfire to show you care about the sacrifices made for the country. Where's the sense of dignity and the quiet respect gone?

Celebrity TV shows are notoriously facile and vacuous. #CelebrityTraitors has broken that record - brilliant telly.

Sweet mercy. This tremendous volley from veteran Trevor Francis is 37 years old today.

Watch yourself, old son. You could put your back out spinning like that…

Being named Andrew today makes listening to the news very peculiar.

I remember when middle aged men bought big cars. Now we buy big mics and cool podcast tools. I have the PodTrak P4 and this looks awesome.
What is it about the new Zoom PodTrak P4next that makes sound sound so good?

Obviously coffee is wrong anyway but this doesn't make sense to me.

And a SIM PIN and an unlock code to make it tougher to circumvent.
Finally, this is a personal thing but I don't use face unlock on my phone/apps. A hostile adversary can just hold it up to your face to unlock it - and that's not just a thief. It could be border guard, bullies, whatever. Use a fingerprint instead. And use different codes to unlock different apps.

This is the exact point; not every Maccabi TLV fan is a rabid hooligan and they're all being punished for the actions of some. Similarly, it's perfectly OK to protest about Israel without going on a 'Jew-hunt' or declaring all 'Zios' need to be buried.

The lack of nuance in this is astonishing.
Policing the public order risk of the match involves protecting legitimate fans from Israel, but not the racist hooligans who support the same club who did engage in disorder at the away match

And protecting legitimate political speech about Israel, but not antisemitic intimidation & threat

Huge thanks to @lizzicollinge.bsky.social for organising today’s Westminster Hall debate celebrating Ada Lovelace Day and support for women in STEM. It was an absolutely amazing experience and I am so honoured to have been recognised this way.
