Context: The Trump administration is trying to use a procedural issue (the scope of the injunctions) to put the policy into effect across 99% of the country.

It’s not formally asking the Court to *uphold* the executive order, but the relief it’s seeking would produce the same *practical* result.
#BREAKING: #SCOTUS announces that it’s going to hold oral argument in the birthright citizenship cases on May 15—on whether the injunctions blocking Trump’s executive order should be limited to the parties.

This will be just the fourth oral argument on emergency applications since 1971:

One of hundreds of people abducted by ICE and sold to slavery in El Salvador was a 19 year old with no criminal record in the US or Venezuela and no tattoos of any kind.

An ICE kidnapper who grabbed him outside his house said, "He's not the one."

The other said, "Take him anyway."

So they did.

In defiance of the Supreme Court & without any evidence, the White House claims that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a “terrorist,” who was “sent to the right place.”

This is a blatant LIE. He is innocent.

He cannot be allowed to rot in an El Salvadorian jail. He must be brought home.
