My scared little rescue dog has a very necessary dental cleaning in the AM so couldn’t eat tonight, and the way she slumped when she realized her safe person knew she was hungry and didn’t help her…she cried once and then stopped because her whole life no one would come if she cried. I’m wrecked

I finally left a note for my downstairs neighbor asking them not to smoke cigarettes indoors. My condo shares some venting with theirs and my air purifier was detecting smoke and running constantly. The whole tier smelled like cigarettes. I have asthma. My home smelled like smoke.

I think one of the worst quirks of online spaces is the idea that if someone doesn't post about something, they don't care about it. It encourages performative posting often makes things worse.

Deeply, deeply sad about the passing of my friend and teacher Jeffrey Carlson. I really think some people cannot be contained in one life or one form or in the struggle being so brilliant in a dark timeline. Jeffrey changed the landscape even if he doesn’t get credit for it.
