When I came back the whole stairwell had been sprayed aggressively with vanilla and my air purifier has not self-started since, so…fingers crossed.

Not to mention the massive hit to property value. “I don’t want to involve the HOA or cause any trouble but this is making me ill and costing me a lot in electricity to always run the air purifier. Please stop.”

I love morning people. It means someone else is doing those things when I can be in my bed because I was at work til 1 AM.

I mean I think deadlines can also be quite motivating 😹 but part of the reason to be a writer is that you can just do a lot of it on your own terms

I’m maybe not the best person to answer this, but unless you have a deadline or “hard” interest for a certain project, I’d float to whatever is most compelling to you at the time. My current festival short that’s doing quite well started as a writing exercise when the other project got stuck

My vet straight up said “do not name a cat Luna. You would not believe how many cats are named Luna. Can be impossible to get correct lab results”
