Elon Musk is talking about Nigel Farage's Reform Party: he says Reform are trying to eradicate white people in Britain.

He is a radicalised + increasingly racist lunatic - obsessed with theories of white racial extinction + promoting the idea of civil war in Britain

Q: The president just said on Truth Social it would be a 'big mistake' for UK to hold over control of Diego Garcia, but the State Dept said the US supports that handover

LEAVITT: The post should be taken as administration policy. When you see it on TS, you know it's directly from President Trump.

Oh ffs, it must be like trying to work with a power pissed goldfish
Donald Trump launched a fresh attack today on Keir Starmer, lambasting a deal the British prime minster painstakingly struck with Mauritius over the Diego Garcia military base in the Chagos Islands.
Trump blasts Starmer’s Chagos deal — hours after US backed it
The U.S. president says the military base — subject of a controversial new British lease agreement with Mauritius — may need to be used to head off an attack by Iran.

They'd already changed it to pay for their cheaper pints policy. Apparently we can afford that.
Jenrick: "As a signal of intent, today, Reform is changing our policy on the two-child cap for Universal Credit. The policy was well-meaning. We want to help working families have more children. But right now, we just cannot afford to do so with welfare. So it has to go."

Reform’s new “head of policy” has said Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a “regional Slavic conflict”.

He added: “It is a conflict happening in the world that I don’t care very much about.”

100% this
This is also how every call to "slash red tape" or "deregulate" should be handled.

Regulations can always work better or be streamlined, but 98% of the time their purpose is still valid and the right wing clowns bloviating about it are the last people on earth you'd trust to iterate implementation.
"So will it be the same act but with a different label?"

Victoria Derbyshire humiliates Zia Yusuf on Reform UK's plan to scrap the Equalities Act, because, as she reads each of the things from the Equalities act he confirms they'll still be protected 🤷‍♂️

Employment rates for non-EU born are now *above* those for the UK born.

Gap used be nearly 10 percentage points.

A tribute to the success of UK immigration/immigrants and labour market integration, especially in recent years.

Something government should celebrate..

My business was incorporated the day before the referendum, my partner and I thinking "nobody is that stupid".
Since then we alone have imported 2 million bottles of wine from Europe.
Every bottle has cost the UK consumer 25% more than it should have. It's that simple.

The Roman Pharos (lighthouse) at Dover, still standing after almost 2,000 years! 🤩

It is the tallest surviving Roman structure in Britain, and one of only three surviving lighthouses from the former Roman Empire! Dated 1st-2nd century AD.

Straight out of the Trump playbook. Sadly, the media doesn't respond in the right way. The next reporter should have asked the identical question. And the next. And call him out for crap or hint of misogyny.

People sometimes praise Farage for taking lots of questions from the press.
That seems irrelevant when he regularly responds to reasonable questions in insulting and Trump-like terms, often attacking individual journalists and their outlets. Collectively, the lobby shouldn’t stand for it.
Nigel Farage lashes out at a FT journalist and refuses to answer the question.

Is this how Reform UK would ignore media questions if they got into government?

It really does seem that tge Trump regime is determined to sell Ukraine out to Russia.

So it's good that officials from Germany, France, Italy and the UK are also in Geneva to show support for Ukraine.

Trump and Putin do not get to decide Europe's future!

Chancellor: Robert Jenrick

Chief Whip: Lee Anderson

People like Farage seem to dislike reporters aslking questions. If you do like reporters asking questions, pay for some (any!) journalism.

Farage: "These were two people who were ministers, but frankly weren't ministers for very long".

Suella Braverman was a minister for over 4 years.

Robert Jenrick was a minister for almost 5 years.
