Nature is beautiful: here you can see the adult buses circling together to protect the baby buses from busivores that would otherwise prey on them
So this happened in Oslo yesterday. Four articulated buses got stuck in a roundabout.

i came across the saying "to follow like a Tantony pig" so I get curious and look it up, but Tantony isnt a place, it's a contraction of St Anthony who is the saint of swineherds, so the proverb means to follow someone like a pig following the hog messiah. alas this information will not pay my bills

The Kamakura Daibutsu (The Great Buddha of Kamakura) is a bronze statue of Amida Buddha over 11 meters tall that was cast in 1252. Originally it was inside a large hall which was destroyed and it now stands uncovered in the grounds of Kotokuin Temple in Kamakura, Japan.

What could this be? The label simply describes it as a ‘decorated part of an item of unknown function made of maple wood’.
A lot of effort clearly went into decorating it, whatever it was. Any suggestions?

What could this be? The label simply describes it as a ‘decorated part of an item of unknown function made of maple wood’.
