I cant switch from Photoshop because no other art program has 'Replace Color', a tool in PS that is critical to how I work.
I have never found any program with anything approaching its functionality, and it is how I achieve a lot of my texture.

Artists no longer own our 'brushes', and indeed those tools are often owned by corporations above accountability.
These companies are run by people who do not care about or understand culture.
It was a trap.

I have spent my career mastering Adobe Photoshop and I think its a coin-flip whether Photoshop is closed down and all Adobe software is combined into an AI prompt box.

Adobe Animate remains an industry standard for TV animation. Star Trek: Lower Decks was made in Animate. Haunted Hotel was made in Animate. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was made in Animate.
