Im sorry to say Tess is probably not coming back to social media. I think its what's best for her. She has never weathered social media very well. The level of cruelty i have seen her put through over the years was disgusting.

For those who dont know: My wife Tess is a breast cancer survivor. She also has a genetic PTEN mutation. Tess didnt bat an eye when she was told she needed a full mastectomy. Multiple people asked her if she was trans or gay.

This was her first comic about her surgery feelings. Everyone else was telling her she wouldn't be a woman anymore while trans men were telling both of us where to buy after surgery shirts that held drains. Tess just wanted to say a proper goodbye.

Tess is still a pansexual CIS woman in a monogamous relationship. Boobs and a uterus are not where all womanhood lives for all people. Being trans is rad. Being gay is rad. Labeling a cancer patient when they have already clearly labeled themselves is NOT rad.
