Banning Members of Congress from trading stocks or becoming lobbyists shouldn’t be controversial — nor should ending the pervasive self-dealing in the White House.

I’ve proposed real reforms to end corruption in Washington D.C. — and will keep fighting to get them across the finish line!

I fail to notice nothing. You fail to comprehend that political violence as a
American norm will not devour only those
who you think deserving. You will not be the arbiter of the bloodletting as it comes, and the horror will not be applied to only those deserving. Far from it.

BREAKING: This is unusual trading by a politican.

Representative Greg Landsman sold up to $50,000 of United Health, $UNH, on 03/26/2025.

Since, $UNH is down 53%, and it was disclosed that the DOJ was investigating $UNH for possible Medicare fraud.

He sits on the House Subcommittee of Health.

No stock trading for members of congress or family members. It’s a cancer she let fester and grow. She’s much more than that obviously, but it remains a cancer in the party.

Hard to overstate how dangerous these attacks on the free press are. And to make matters worse, many of the networks aren't putting up enough (or any) fight.
CNBC: Are you threatening to pull CBS's license?

FCC COMMISSIONER BRENDAN CARR: It's not a threat. That's a penalty that is in the communications act.

We live in a country where leadership and half the voting public thought Colonel Jessup was the unfairly maligned and persecuted hero of A Few Good Men.

Regarding the Novavax drama, we do actually need new RCTs for the Covid vaccines in the immunity era. I wrote about this way back in 2022.

The problem now is you have anti-vaxxers running the healthcare system. Hard to trust them.

Would love to hear you and Ed talk about how to think about real estate as an asset now on a future show. I know that is how you diversify, but seems like real estate will follow the rates and the equities market to some degree in secondary housing markets.

Over at The Verge I wrote about how Brendan Carr has transformed our top media and telecom regulator into a dangerous, incoherent, grievance-fueled censorship and harassment machine:
Brendan Carr’s FCC is an anti-consumer, rights-trampling harassment machine

Almost every line of this story would have been simply unbelievable a few months ago:

—Pioneering cancer researcher;
—*Arrested* at airport in Boston;
—Now indefinite ICE detention in Louisiana;
—"Crime": not declaring some frog-embryo samples for research.

Read it.

Without scientist Kseniia Petrova’s expertise, no one can fully unlock the data’s potential, putting crucial advancements in early cancer detection at risk.

When people say that some concept is too complicated for voters to understand, I remember Stephen Sondheim's line about the "West Side Story" movie. He was told that it didn't have "hummable" songs. Then United Artists spent a ton of $ promoting it, the movie was a hit, and suddenly it was hummable.
I was told that protecting due process couldn't be a winning political issue because a poll from before this gained wide publicity showed people weren't already upset about it.
Joe Rogan explains to his audience why due process is important and quotes Ben Franklin — "it is better 100 guilty persons should escape than that one innocent person should suffer.”

He argues against shipping people to a prison in El Salvador without trial because we think they’re gang members.
