I just saw an article calling a piece of media the “cure for superhero fatigue.”

The cure for fatigue is TAKING A BREAK, not more of what fatigued you, whether it’s good or not.

Like, jogging is good, but if you’re fatigued from jogging, more jogging won’t cure your fatigue. You need to REST.

Both of those people also grossly misread Luke Skywalker’s appearance in The Mandalorian and thought it was somehow meant as a slight against TLJ, instead of remembering that the series took place in Luke’s prime. In case you were wondering why folks turned on Dave Filoni.
I don't trust people who are anti-The Last Jedi who think the movie's theme is "Let the past die." and people who are pro-The Last Jedi who think the movie's theme is "The Jedi are bad, let them end."

Neither of those things is even remotely close to being what TLJ is about.

I'm so sick of doomers complaining about how much things suck in the world but never actually do anything about it.

They don't provide solutions to problems, they just whine and whine.

🧡 In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we share this Peanuts comic strip from January 18, 1993.

Franklin, the calm, cool, and collected Peanuts character, was introduced shortly after the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. in April 1968.

Change has never been easy. It takes persistence and determination, and requires all of us to speak out and stand up for what we believe in. As we honor Dr. King today, let’s draw strength from his example, and do our part to build on his legacy.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future – a lesson that feels especially relevant today.

Roger Allers gave us so many unforgettable animated moments.

He did a splendid job with "The Lion King" and his beautiful short "The Little Matchgirl", served as head of story of "Beauty and the Beast" and his original Incan story eventually led to "The Emperor's New Groove."

Zootopia 2 has now surpassed Inside Out 2 at the box office and has become the highest-grossing American animated film of all time, only being behind Ne Zha 2. I had a feeling this was gonna be a big film, but even I'm amazed how quickly it broke the record in a short time.

Indeed. Like, Casey Newton's main motivation throughout the film is looking for a way to improve and fix things for humankind, even as her teachers prefer to sell doomerism and not offer any possible solutions at all

As she says in one scene, "I get things are bad. But what are we doing to fix it?"

I think about that speech often (but I'm also a huge fan of Tomorrowland) and it's gotten better and more relevant with each passing year.

There are too many people don't want to offer viable suggestions on how we could improve society. They just prefer to doomscroll and make others do the same.
