Paths — Dreams like distant memories. What-ifs and missed moments; parallel lives existing from the branches of decisions we made (or didn’t make) that could have been—but aren’t—this one. #piano #composer #musician #dtm

Dance Around The Truth

A showtune-inspired dance number about gossip and murder.
Imagine “Clue, but as a musical at a fancy party”.

Lyrics still WIP so you get the instrumental version for now ;)

"it's not about individual behavior" is a successful industry psyop to keep selling climate harm. we need regulation and system changes AND they won't happen so long as normalized consumer behavior keeps profitable demand for pretty lawns, SUVs, plastic, meat industry, car joyriding, routine flights
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

And, to add to this: there are also no rules about who you can be. You can make up a new person to be, and see how that person engages with others. You can change both how you behave and who you are. Nobody can stop you.
when you realize the world has no "rules" in how to engage with others, it's way more fun because you can make your own rules that challenge the traditional takes that might make you feel anxious in these situations

Ever read a giant essay tying together a bunch of vibes you sort of intuitively believe into a maxim you’d never managed to formulate?

I just did!
I'm glad you asked!

(also if anyone reads this essay and likes it, I'd like to pay my internet bill and buy some food, so tips would be appreciated)

“Life is moments. Life has nothing to do with money [or] things. Life is dancing.”
In 2023 I became obsessed with videos of dads in cargo shortswaiting in parking lots during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. So when she came to town, I grabbed a camera and headed down to talk to them. I thought it'd be funny. It turned out to be something else entirely.

This is a really cool list and even from my little niche most of my top 10 are on here … missing Tunic though :)

Also I worked on number 46!*

Some ppl: "Humans can't multitask"
Other ppl: "I'm great at multitasking"
so like, wtf?

definitions, pls. "multi-tasking" as in 2+ things simultaneously in real-time? very difficult*.

"multi-threading" as in 2+ things interwoven over a longer period of time? something you can do! #neurospicy 🧵

Not sure if you ever saw a game called Knockout City. It was a competitive multiplayer game I really enjoyed where aiming was only a minimal part of it, relying instead on timing and position. I think it's one of the most mechanically beautiful games I ever played.

I enjoyed Metroid Prime immensely and have yet to find an “FPS” that comes close to enjoyable since.

I had forgotten about the lock-on mechanic and i suspect that’s a huge reason why.
Sometimes folks say Metroid Prime 1 should add mouse controls. I get why people think they want this, but I think it's the wrong move for that particular game.

MP1's gameplay is NOT designed around aiming as a primary player verb, unlike basically any FPS. "Aiming" is free with the lockon mechanic

How would you feel about a paper TCG (or boxed game) that REQUIRES sleeves to function?
- Opaque sleeves?
- Transparent sleeves?

Something like “lots of double-faced cards”
