Started watching Frieren and Shield Hero! Not far enough into either to have a firm opinion yet, but I think I like both series. I'm sure I'll have a lot to say about them once I'm more fully invested.
Also, Blacklist continues to be absurd, and I continue to not understand all the hate for Liz.

The Dem leadership must know this. They'll never mollify conservatives who'd never vote for "diet" Republican, yet they keep chasing this mythical voter in a rightward lurching "center." I half-believe maybe they'd rather lose elections than risk losing donations: win or lose they get paid.

More thoughts about "Dracula: A Love Tale," it's not just VERY derivative of Coppola's film. There seems to be more than one reference to the 2006 "Perfume: the Story of a Murderer" too. I'm not just talking about the way in which Dracula's perfume makes people behave (similar to that earlier film.)

Saw the new Dracula movie, and I liked it, though I’m still digesting it. The influence of Coppola’s earlier film is obvious and unmistakable: this film borrows a TON from his imagery and ideas, though this leans even more heavily into the lost love theme.
