It was believed in medieval times that hedgehogs had spikes so they could roll over fruit to carry home to their children, which is not true but is a really cute idea

Just made an incredible old fashioned:

Eagle rare 30ml
Starward Two Fold 30ml
Pohutukawa infused simple syrup 14 ml
Dash of bitters
Water 15ml
Chilled down then poured over a big ice cube and an orange twist.

It really cheered me up.

There is a disparity of goes in the winter Olympics. Some sports get like six goes, others? One. They should address that.

Good they got the guy from Aunty Donna in the mix though.
"It was ready to kill someone, wasn't it?"

"Yes."

Daisy McGregor, UK policy chief at Anthropic, a top AI company, says it's "massively concerning" that Anthropic's Claude AI has shown in testing that it's willing to blackmail and kill in order to avoid being shut down.

Who would want to live on the moon. Have you seen the cool stuff on earth? Rivers, beaches, mountains, birds, whales, babes and hunks, frosty beers, sourdough bread.

The moon has none of that.

Not to condone pissing your pants and beating up teenagers over a door knock...

But getting caught is a massive skill issue from these dudes.

helping an event with social media and it's wild to me that meta still hasn't fixed its tagging in business suite.

It hasn't gotten worse, but it still doesn't work.

“The normalisation of One Nation, through reality TV, breakfast TV slots and inclusion as a serious political player in Australia has been media-driven, dressed up as the people’s choice,” writes @amyremeikis.bsky.social.

Been wondering which famous alt-right/Nazi dudes would help a friend move house (for example). I'm guessing it's zero.

Then I wonder how far down the brain poisoning has gone into communities. These sorts of posts are evidence that the entire movement has no sense of support and giving.
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.

I've never seen Spaceballs. I have read the book at least a dozen times.
One of the best things about my childhood media consumption was consuming everything in the wrong format like I read Dune, not the Herbert book, but a children's book with screenshots and descriptions of the David Lynch movie. I listened to 101 Dalmatians on a record. Not the songs the whole movie

Love how you can buy a thing and then the makers of the thing say "actually it looks different now" and you just have to accept it.
