One of the many achievements of president Donald J. Trump and his White House staff is mass curing of the impostor syndrome. Just observing this bunch bungle through their day inspires belief in one's own competence.

22 stycznia 1863 roku wybuchło Powstanie Styczniowe – trwający ponad 1,5 roku zryw zbrojny wymierzony w rosyjski imperializm, carską przemoc i narodowe zniewolenie.

Cześć i pamięć bohaterkom i bohaterom Powstania Styczniowego!

There has been a petition for Denmark to buy California from the US regime. This is wrong. New England makes much more sense, you can even call it the New Danelaw.

Reuters reports that U.S. officials have discussed offering lump sum payments of $10,000 to $100,000 to Greenland residents as an incentive to secede from Denmark.

It might cover two or maybe even three hospital visits in the U.S., depending on coverage plan, networks, and luck

This workshop has not been advertised that much, but for anyone interested in Late Antique Latin historiography and recent groundbreaking developments in our understanding of it this looks extremely interesting. I am really sad I will not be able to attend.

On point:
9/ Until you push back and demonstrate real consequences for crossing red lines, you will remain an object in Trump’s thinking, not a subject. Deterrence is the only language leaders with authoritarian mindset understand.

3/ Some Europeans continue to put their faith in the US. American soldiers will refuse orders, American institutions will intervene, the midterms will save us, Democrats will return Greenland, and so on. The problem is that this mindset places Europe in a helpless position, with no agency of its own

The reason is simple: We don't have 2000 soldiers.
European countries need to not only acknowledge the fact that U.S. is no longer an ally, but also the urgent need for rearmament.
Denmark's gov & EU continues to be in complete denial over the threat from US.
They still think #appeasement is a strategy. Its not. Its #copium
and criminally neglect of duty.

Venezuela is being robbed of its oil, while EUr&DK clapped.

Why has DK not sent say 2000 soldiers to Nuuk already?

Starmer and Farage both drape themselves in flags but once again it's really clear where their loyalty really is.

It's Trump first. They will always be on the side of the super rich and powerful - no matter how heinous the crime.

This is not patriotism. It's subservience.

Europe and Canada need to move carefully to avoid creating further dangers, but they need to decouple from the US in areas like defence planning, intelligence sharing, and defence procurement.

I will keep it unusually simple and straightforward for an academic: an imperialist military aggression is condemnable no matter whether it is dressed up in an American or a Russian flag or whether it targets a country in Eastern Europe or Southern America.
