Archer, Engineer, Nerd, Wolverine - It’s like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy without the international espionage…so nothing like that really
5w ago the supply line to my toilet failed between me leaving for work at 730 AM and getting home ~9 PM. It was raining in my basement and flooded. My only full bath is currently gutted. This is my dining room with salvaged items. So yes, what this represents probably killed me from stress

Carve it into the shape of a turkey and we'll put it in an overfilled deep fryer.
what we don’t have in turkey fryer explosion videos, we make up for with 10-pound grease ball pics.

Since it is apparently “dessert discourse” day, throwing my own likely panned takes here:

- Chocolate pudding on its own is one of life’s great simple pleasures

- Most cheesecake is straight trash. I used to find all cheesecake awful but there have been like two that have made the ok list

Laughing at the idea of Kegseth screaming “Witchcraft!!!” every time he sees his reflection

There exists a video of my family passing the phone to chat with the oldest cousin deployed to Panama; in the background her little brother has a knife stuck in a straight out of the freezer Carmel Apple Pie and him banging the entire pie on the table with the knife as a handle
yes, hello, I would like to place an order for everyone’s funniest stories of holiday food-related family grudges / drama / chaotic incidents / lore

I feel like we need this

The whole thread is amazing but this is just an all-time post.
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."

I was thinking about the “Wallace Shawn from Young Sheldon” bit from yesterday and if we were to poll everyone including the youngest folks out there, “Danny DeVito from [insert thing here]” definitely runs away with it right?

First one that jumps to mind is “Garrett Morris from Martin”
I think everybody has a “Wallace Shawn from Young Sheldon” — my first one would probably be “Vincent Price, the guy who did the voice of Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective”

their plainly stated goal is to starve forty million people until they get what they want, which is to rip health care away from millions more

that this is too monstrous for most news organizations to tell the truth about does not change the facts
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

You should have to pass a driving test with the car you intend to purchase. Fail to keep a gigantic SUV or pickup in the lane? Or fail to park in a lined spot? Here’s your sub-compact. We’ll try again in a year.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
