Since I first posted on Sunday about Trump's radio spot alleging a land strike on Venezuela, I've gotten a surprising amount of hand waving in response. No matter what the explanation is here, it's important to understand what actually did (or didn't) happen.

I just renewed my driver's license earlier this year
I did it online and didn't have to leave the house (except for the eye exam, which I did at the pharmacy on the corner). my new card was mailed to me within a week
