After MTG lied about me for weeks, she said that she felt bad for my unborn child because he'd have me as a mother. Her rhetoric led to threats against my family.

No one, even her, should receive threats like those, but I'd like to see her own up to the role she played in creating them for others.
Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I sent those deaths threats directly to him in a text message & informed him of what his name calling & words were doing - it was a direct assassination threat on my son. And he was extremely - I won't repeat what he said - but it was extremely unkind. No sympathy. No care"

There is probably a candidate who might be able to preach to America that maybe they have a problem with mindless consumption and have it resonate as a real soul searching moment. The guy who shits on gold toilets I suspect is not that man.
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

The way the mainstream media cleans up Trump’s racist tirades has long passed the “they’re just making mistakes” phase. This is actively aiding and abetting a racist, tyrannical regime. The ‘mainstream media is the enemy.

A lot of the Democratic Party saw Obama getting pushback from business owners for "you didn't build that" as a bad thing, because all their friends are rich.

Hitting back with "well, you're a trust fund baby, got $1b in subsidies, underpaid your workers, etc" would've been good messaging

How the American media apparatus continues to act like it's business as usual is such an amazing sight. The mad king just rants and rants making every day they keep this act up more of a contortion act and ever more pathetic.

Sure, conservatives are in the middle of a gleeful orgy of corruption, kidnapping, rape, and murder, but the real problem is when liberals say it's bad.
Imagine looking around America in 2025 and thinking, "What we need less of is morality."

Disgusting.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Who can forget the harrowing images of Biden personally wringing the necks of hundreds of chickens during his great chicken slaughter crusade.
Peter Navarro: "We had an enormous egg and chicken crisis when we came in because of the great chicken slaughter by the Biden regime ... we're doing all sorts of great stuff to address the cattle and beef price crisis, but there's gonna be lags."

MSNBC reported Schumer's office felt that the longer that shutdown went on, the more likely it was that people would start to blame the Dems.

My kingdom for Democrats that don't govern out of fear. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The American people are far braver than their reps.

Schumer said the Dems will "keep fighting". Keep fighting their own voters? Keep fighting off effectiveness? Keep fighting being held accountable for anything? As far as I can tell the Democratic leadership is good at one thing only now, which is sending fundraising messages to my phone.

They’re wearing masks so they can’t be prosecuted later. As long as they think they can’t be prosecuted, their crimes will intensify. They will torture, starve and kill, as they have already, on greater and greater scale.

Signed, someone who’s covered the unaccountable War on Terror for 23 years.
I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.

It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.

A pathetic coward whose time in power needs to end. He should be removed as leader and then primaried and dumped in 2028.
SCOOP: Schumer was more involved than reported with the attempted cave on the government shutdown. The Gang of 8 Senate Dems had his approval & he was getting daily updates.
In Thursday's caucus meeting, the Gang claimed they had 10 votes to cave. The caucus went nuts, leading to the new proposal.
Why Does Schumer Keep Trying to Cave? - The American Prospect

Senate Democratic Minority Leader Schumer’s decision not to endorse Zohran Mamdani in the NYC mayoral race “was driven in large part…by his self-conception as a guardian of Israel, something he considers a core part of his personal and political identity.”
