In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Breaking News: Cornell University reached an agreement with the Trump administration that would restore hundreds of millions in funding to the university. It's expected to pay a $30 million fine to the government and to invest $30 million in agriculture and farming programs.

I can't help but think that poisoning wells was once one of the worst things you could do. Now it's just economy.

When we have a Congressional majority that is actually in Congress there really needs to be a root and branch rewriting of privacy laws, data and digital rights. The Privacy Act was written in 1974, and has been continuously ignored by the Trump admin.
