I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

Spot on here. There is a general rise in racism and xenophobia but I am seeing people being more comfortable saying anti-Semitic things. There are ways of condemning Israel for its atrocious actions without racist tropes.
Two things that are simultaneously true:
- Antisemitism is a real, and growing problem in Ireland, something which a distressing number of people are in complete denial about
- Only either a total moron or a shameless charlatan would claim that Ireland is the "most antisemitic country in Europe"

Spot on here. There is a general rise in racism and xenophobia but I am seeing people being more comfortable saying anti-Semitic things. There are ways of condemning Israel for its atrocious actions without racist tropes.
