It’s been kind of crazy-making to watch the massive retconning of what that uprising actually was and actually did—from a strong, multiracial, and largely nonviolent protest movement that scared the shit out of a lot of powerful people to a bad dangerous destructive wave of “riots”
begging for a repeat of 2020 is also odd in itself since Trump lost that election and most analysis suggests the protests damaged him pretty badly.

We also did a bunch of work on democratic inclusiveness, and various theories that the point of democracy is that no single authority can account for all the important reasons. That every single participant in a society has a different angle, a different form of relevant knowledge.

This headline is wildly misleading and I am so sick of this biased reporting. Judge Cobb banned a similar policy last month and all this order did was tell the lawmakers to revise their Complaint to meet the admin’s latest argument. It’s not a victory for Trump.
