I used to think that smartphones and streaming were a mistake because giving people the illusion of access to everything all of the time would break us irreparably, but this & returns to iPods, DVDs, records, etc prove that people just want to be people, not 24/7 consumers and marketing targets.

I must admit, the best part of this is how Conan has resigned himself to the fact that this will go on until the day he dies.
Wanted to put on something just to have something on. Went with The Towering Inferno. I’m only now realizing it has almost the exact same plot beats as Die Hard. Paul Newman was even crawling through an air duct.
