I bought a vintage tunic top thing in 2000 from a shop on Staten Island. The tunic was made in Finland. It now lives with me here in Manc. It's one helluva well-travelled garment.
Even more spectacular: it's taken 25 years but I've finally gotten round to making it into something that fits (I hope)

My first two sewing machines used traditional bulbs for the light and they always burned out really quickly.
My new machine has LED lights which are lovely and bright and white, but they're a bit TOO bright, so when I turn it off, everything else seems a bit dim
