Example: "Cry harder, Trump controls the military!" = the GOP is worried about their hold on the military.

I don’t find it productive to shame people for ‘showing up late’ wrt to social awareness. We all show up when we show up. But I strongly encourage new people who show up to do so while assuming a listening posture. I promise, we’ve heard your ideas & opinions before, back when we were less informed.
