Keeping and caring for our pet rats has been a deeply enriching experience for Liz and I. Most obviously, these playful and friendly animals who get compared to dogs, but much smaller, bring me joy I can't easily summarize.
They're just some of the purest, nicest lil dudes I've ever met!
Three of our seven rats named Gouda, Brie and Baby Swiss, relaxing in a cuddle-pile after a busy hour in their play-space. Baby roused to watch us take the picture.
