Ellison barely won in 2022 and was the worst performing Dem that year while Simon nearly won by double digits. I don’t know why Ellison deserves it since he’s been a constant underperformer

The people now in charge of the Office of Personnel Management apparently don’t know how to scrub PDF metadata, and have exposed the original authors of the guidance they’re publishing. Two, Noah Peters and James Sherk, have links to the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025.

I dedicated years of my life to reporting on January 6 and exposing what happened. I was there that day, co-wrote a book, and published a series of major stories on my own, for Rolling Stone, and for TPM.

I hope it mattered. I hope history will remember and understand what happened.

The rise of fascism in the 1930s led to genocide and a catastrophic world war, but it ultimately ushered in a period of unprecedented peace and prosperity in Europe and North America. Could the same thing happen again?

Valuable thread on GOP House meltdown, by serving Dem representative @seancasten.bsky.social Worth reading whole thread.

(He coined the term 'cowards, led by morons,' about previous GOP circuar-firing-squad antics.)
Brief thread on how we got here: Since the GOP won control of the House 2 years ago they have not passed a single appropriations package into law. Government has operated at funding levels set by Dems 2 years ago via continuing resolutions every few months. This is not normal.

Just a reminder that in 2019, RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine misinformation campaign helped cause a measles outbreak in Samoa that killed 83 people, mostly kids.

Do you really want him to lead the Department of Health and Human Services?
