I remember back in the early days of twitter my friend @kiostark.bsky.social identified a whole genre of post as “my coffee issues” and we need to bring that back, frankly.

This is a political problem, not a technical problem
Happy There Is A Circulatory System Walking Through The Kitchen Day to all who celebrate.

It’s all so performative. Like that’s not a decision you make in your own mind and keep to yourself. You work backwards from the public statement and construct ideology from there

By the midterms this will be every single national candidate though

I am not voting for anyone who uses genAI political ads. Period.

Weekend goals but I have to work

I go out alone all the time. Sit at the bar to eat and drink with a book and usually end up talking with others. It’s fun.

Not really but I’ll make it

Been slowly reading David Harvey's "A Companion to Marx's 'Grundrisse'."
"Grundriss" is German for "floorplan" or "blueprint" or "architecture."
The original is notoriously difficult (Marx laying out and stress-testing all the theory & concepts of capital), and this companion is no easy read either…

WOW!
An incredible discovery. The first ever image of a baby exoplanet embedded in the dust rings from which planets are forming around a star. Confirms the developing view of planet formation that we’ve never before seen in action.

I know.

So evil. Especially for a university environment

Google: don’t be evil

Also Google: adds a Google Meet link by default to calendar events confusing everyone and tricking them into using their products more

Oh it is nighttime nighttime out there at 5:30pm, huh? Nice.

Ah I'm sorry to hear that!

I really love going for runs on weekday mornings and I hope that I'm able to do it for a long time into the future.

A car did that? A car? Was it a Waymo? Or was there a person driving who did that while driving a car?

It’s the opening sentence of a Lovecystory
