That being said, MAGFest is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER WOOOOO!! I'm in full pre-travel prep mode and will be out of town until the 12th. I'm hoping to come back to streams and videos in full swing after that, nice and recharged from seeing everyone at MAG!

A small personal update.
Sadly, we lost someone really close over the holidays. The funeral is on Monday.
Before all this, I was planning to be back to making videos for you on Monday.
Between the funeral, related plans with family, and travel, I won't be back to work until Wednesday.

I know it's 2026 but when I'm editing my videos and typing the dates of travel I'm still having to type 2025 for nearly all videos and I think one or two from 2024 still aren't done.

we live in a suburb on a busy street & have had visits from coyotes & foxes (as seen on the security videos). they travel down from the hills along a nearby creek bed. wish they’d do something about the squirrels that strip out apricot tree.

I’ve been watching videos of people stuck in the Caribbean did to the airspace being closed.
I wonder if travel insurance covers this. I know many policies exempt acts of war and terrorism.

As I understand it*, if time travel is possible, it’s mostly likely to involve some sort of wormhole, which would have a definitive exit point in space.
*Of course I don’t understand it, just badly remembering what I’ve read on Wikipedia and seen in science YouTube videos.

The videos that piss me off the most are the ones where people get to the airport for a trip only to realize they forgot something vital (passport, travel visa, etc)
Like how do you move through life lacking a shred of awareness?! And then film the content instead of fixing the issue?
