The tunnel is curved and is approximately 533 meters long.
It was carved by two groups of stonemasons who worked towards each other from both ends, and met in the middle, an extraordinary engineering achievement for that period.

A Stormwind festival that revolves around the anniversary of the rebuilding of the city following it's destruction, but also a memorial for the ones who fell defending it in the First War and the Stonemasons who were wronged by the House of Nobles.

The roads are a bit mushy along the detour we have to take as they near completion of First Bridge. The cold, wet weather has made sure of that. I marvel at the skills of the stonemasons as they build the new span. Strength and elegance is already apparent as its arches take shape.
