#rightwing’s
By politicising “mass migration” the rightwing's aim is to foster anxiety and turn that into fear. Fear is their business model.

You know what. If I ever get killed for being gay or trans I put this on every democrat politician that failed to defend my existence and others. Furthermore, it will continue highlighting both failure in civility but also the rightwing’s pure violence since they’re just bored and stupid. Tbh.

It is very much a part of the rightwing’s anti-politics to declare the political a brute, emotive, non-cognitive zone of indistinction.
I think one of the most important lessons humanists impart to undergrads is why a statement like “this is political” is not some thought-terminating moral judgment but rather an invitation—the beginning, even—of critical inquiry.

Balint just took down the Rightwing’s “we believe in antisemitism” nonsense in one statement and exited the room like a boss!

The thing I just CANNOT get over is the rightwing’s rabid insistence that Barack Obama was the one dividing America. Ask them HOW he divided and they cannot give you a straight answer. THEY were the source!! They exposed themselves with their thinly veiled bigotry. NOW that veil has fallen!!!

oh I have so much to say about the rightwing's pimp pathology.

Worth noting: Cato isn’t some lefty outfit. They’re a conservative, libertarian, free-market think tank.
Even the rightwing’s economists know immigrants are an economic net gain.
Heads are going to explode 💥

Cato Institute just nuked the lie. Immigrants have cut U.S. deficits by $14.5 TRILLION since 1994, slashing the national debt by a third.

All that “immigrants are bleeding us dry” noise? Absolute bullshit.

It was the 2001 World Trade Center attack that really kicked it off, though whining about being kicked around by mean old (commies, democrats, democrat-commies) was always one of the rightwing’s favorite pastimes.

re-reading "speculative whiteness" and maaaaaan, so much of the racist ideas are just projection of the rightwing's own unexamined flaws. oh, the "lesser races" have no ability to forego instant gratification to save for the future? so how's that climate denialism to preserve overconsumption going?

This makes some interesting points about the Homeland idea—the idea that some members are legitimate and others are not—they are are either things to be used or worthless—which is the rightwing’s central conception about other people. www.juancole.com/2026/01/minn...

Not sure which is the more annoying the rightwing's fanning of Andy Burnham to unsettle Labour or the leftwing's obsession with the man.

There is no way the left can do anything to fix the damage if they get voted in. The rightwing's greatest talent is near-permanently destroying the country's infrastructure in just the first year. It is super easy to just sell out all our infrastructure. It is impossibly harder to get it back.

Makes sense to use the American spelling given they're copying the American rightwing's "open border" rhetoric.

All of the Rightwing's accusations are confessions.

Let us always keep this in mind when they are being accusatory toward us.

I respect your stance but this goes way beyond last night's vote.

Schumer has let us down in many, many ways before due to his absolute refusal to grow a pair & stand up to the Rightwing's oppressive BS.

This Is not a one-off with him. It's a pattern.

He is weak & ineffective.

He needs to resign
Democrats could have done better. They probably should have done better. But they exit this event in a stronger position than they entered. And also: They could have done much worse.

It's NUTS that nobody who is not loaded can afford kids in the USA because of these childcare years. It is cuckoo bananas. We could have been doing this the whole time except for the rightwing's pointless yearning for women to be out of the workforce. archive.thinkprogress.org/heres-what-h...

Marking 30 years since Yitzhak #Rabin's assassination, Hillel Schenker writes that we must prevent the rightwing's effort to depoliticize his memory, since the reason he was killed was his willingness to make compromises for peace with the Palestinians.
