There are good and bad comparisons to the Third Reich but Hitler did achieve this, probably due to stifling dissent. Trump hasn't been able to. Hitler had a huge number of "monkeys" to choose from. The place I worry about cultural domination coming from is MAHA (which has parallels to Nazis).
