Quite surprised the Viper had problems because it seems about as complicated as a pencil sharpener with like Dodge partsbin stuff, so not expensive either. Pity!

Ferrari people tend to swap out for mileage?? hmm

I’ll say though: so very nice to have y’all with real life experience with these cars!

less than you’d hope, which is true for every GM-era saab. they didn’t like the partsbin that much lol

Yeah the 90s still had a lot of bad airbag designs. It's why the NA Miatas get the swap regularly to bagless wheel. No one likes looking down and seeing the obvious FoMoCo partsbin bag - it's the giant early '90s Taurus et al bag with a new cover.

So this looks to me like a partsbin special.

Take a F80 nose, graft it onto a SP3 Daytona, put 296 style rear fender intakes, SF90 ass, bob’s yer uncle: new Ferrari.

This is why Di Montezemolo is in McLaren now..

Haha as expected, one is a partsbin, the other two are repairable. Still for $100 I wouldn't be mad if just one worked
Sorry I've been quiet, I assure you everything is very normal and I didn't get excited about a new hobby happy pretend #Fursuitfriday because I'll be at AC and forget to post

Okay all three of my idiots

Here’s a short video explaining my bemusement and astonishment at the most poor partsbin integration I’ve yet seen.

And don’t get me wrong, I’m on the camp of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” but this is shit!
This is not a Jeep thing 😂

#Wichita #Kansas is the setting for #locojoe showcases his latest #partsbin #swapmeet #bikebuild . I love locojoe’s enduring passion for building bikes with legacy components. Making a bike greater than the sum of its parts. The art of the restomod. Necessity being the mother of invention 🚲❤️

#locojoe from #wichita #kansas shares his #restomod #partsbin #bikebuild of a #trekbikes #trekmountaintrack I really like the combo of blue frame and 2025 #panaracer #gravelkings in yellow. It pops. Like the Nalgene bottle behind the saddle too! Joes videos are fun. 🚲❤️

I really like these #locojoe #partsbin #bikebuild videos. He has a kind of easy going skill as he ad libs his way thru the build choices. This #trek #mountaintrack frame set gets the #panaracer #gravelking 2025 colorway Tyres 🚲❤️

Related: a lot of the electric cars on the market are disappointing trash. Solterra/bz4x? Boring focus group slop. Equinox/Blazer? GM partsbin cheapness everywhere. Tesla? Not touching that. VW and Hyundai seem to be the only ones making anything worth a shit

My Miata has the same basic airbag! Looks goofy in the NA. Perfect minimalist sports car interior fouled by giant partsbin Taurus airbag [albeit with its own slightly less lunchbox-like cover].

The Fox mirrors never struck me as tiny. Maybe just "period correct generic." They'd def be small today.

and all the while, it's gnawing itself apart

dudes in the FSJ groups throw SO MUCH MONEY at them and i can't understand why when there are countless cheap, easy, and bombproof swaps that are better by every possible metric

it's a partsbin truck from the factory, any engine IS the correct answer!!

#2ndlifebikes reviews his channel over 2024 and the #bikebuilds #restomods #cargomods he shared with us . I ❤️ this channel. Fun. Like he says on his sticker merch (which are cool) ‘backyard mechanic’ . This is #90sMTBs and #fattirebikes #fixedgear but with a unique twist. #partsbin connoisseur ❤️🚲

if for whatever financial reasons we need to make a partsbin special I would happily settle for an extended Alfa Romeo 4C floorpan to make a Pacifica SRT4

maybe if it wasn't partsbin stuff it wouldn't have been so bad
idc how good the vertical integration is if I can't carry or use the thing
next year has gotta have a smaller phone or I'm out, after _every_ smartphone I've had since the treo days being ios
