Restful day on vacation after a busy yesterday. Too cold to hike in western NC. So our friends and us ate. A lot. Serious gym time in 2026 will make up for 2025's year end dietary slip ups. But not today. We're moving to the bourbon & fire part of the evening before bed. Cheers 🥃

There's no one in Buc-ee's at 5:30am - much better than my last stop at 8pm. My first breakfast excursion in one.
I think if I wasn't exhausted I'd consider the coffee merely ok, but I need it so badly it's going down great. The brisket egg taco is legit good.

I hate when the NFL moves the all-NFC games to CBS. The network's coverage is awful. Never any live QB stats at the bottom. The announcers literally know nothing about the teams. No balls to call out the refs [which suck this game]. I don't love FOX but it's generally way better than this #Seahawks
