best memory about this car was the intro commercial when it got to the US. beautifully shot, but I loved it bc i discovered the great club mix of Bowie's "Let's Dance" backing it. i remember the ad more than the car

I feel the same way, generally. However, if this works as a bit of a feel good, buddy hit a deer with his Audi RS5 a few months ago. Abt $33K in repairs [for a deer!]. Think book was $41K. So it was repaired. The specialty shop that did the work nailed it.

This even has the available cloth seats & right hand mirror, but leaves off the rear defroster & has no AC. It's literally my exact spec [except mine was tan]. Thinking Toyota built the first batch intentionally this way before coming up with the "EZ" idea. I may never see this spec again.
