I'm seeing all these oxytocin cream ads and I'm wondering if we can aerosolize that and gently spray it near really angry men which while technically unethical would probably be interesting

Their hatred WILL eventually affect their health negatively. While oxytocin acts as a brain chemical promoting social bonding, trust, empathy, and reducing stress & anxiety, influencing everything from romantic attachment to parent-infant connection. It's crucial for reproduction & social behavior.

When we are happy, when we feel gratitude, when we feel love, especially when we receive a loving tender touch our body releases oxytocin it's "the Love hormone" coursing through our bodies 💜Those who "hate" are releasing Cortisol in theirs. While essential for short-term stress, consistently 👇

I think I found the paragraph with the highest number of p = .04 of all time. Conclusion? "This study found that intimate physical contact can reduce cortisol responses and, along with oxytocin administration, promote wound healing."

I disagree. The 60s and 70s saw the most wild BS like the frauds by Milgram and Zimbardo (and my hunch is that some other branches of psychology still even treated psycho"analysis" with some vague scientific respect).
Today the worst retracted blunt I can think of is the oxytocin hugging experiment.

Make me a game where I can turn information into sound. Make it in such a way I dance and it surrounds me in waves. For the first level of the game turn oxytocin into music. Weave into it stories of people talking about elevated levels of connectness they've felt in their lives.

Have more sex.

Seriously, start having more sex.

Sex will calm nerves, release oxytocin (the bonding/love hormone), and is just generally relaxing.

Wenn ihr mal so richtig sauer auf euer Kind seid, schaut euch Bilder oder Filmchen an, wo sie klein, süß und zum schreien waren - ihr hängt sofort wieder am Oxytocin. Glaubt mir.
