Ah thanks! I glue to a 2mm mdf 25mm base, cover with vallejo texture, then use modgepodge in places and dip in a basing mix that has frankly loads of random bags of stuff inc some static grass. Then tufts and flowers. Flowers I think always make them pop and anchor them into terrain.

I can’t decide which view of them is worst but they just keep shocking me with every successive image!!! Those aren’t shoes, they’re salvaged fucked up ballet flats that someone took a chainsaw and some modgepodge to!

ok I'm... going to try to paint my bases anyway and see if modgepodge works and if not I'll just have to pick up the basing glue tomorrow (I'M STILL SO??? I HOPE I DIDN'T PAY FOR IT but it's a small shop so I didn't get a receipt)

As promised, I am sharing some photos of how I attach foam clay mold scales to the leg pieces. There was 1 bottle of glue left and I did quite a lot. Shoulder scales almost completed, am close to finishing gluing arm and leg pieces. Heat shaped my hat and will soon work on the clove effect.

I am advancing with gluing my cosplay bracers and also started working on the leg pieces until I ran out of scales. The cut foam experiment for the ring was a success and looks even better after heatsealing it. Will put in silicone next week after priming with modgepodge.

The seal (#ModgePodge) went on today and the work is fully complete! I love the look MP gives, such great texture and shine.

Sigo indecisa si me chingo el varo para comprar plastidip para mi cosplay aunque sea de otro color random (aunque eso da igual pq lo pintaría de negro de todas formas). O si mejor consigo gesso. La neta no me animo x modgepodge. Pega chido pero huele del nabo. 😒
