I can't finish my Haptics book because I couldn’t think of a fresh & new way of starting the final arc without repeating events of prior chapters. My new antagonist will solve that but I don't know what to do regarding the love interest to bring some chemistry.

There is a reason why I made my books hinting romantic dalliances between characters. There's plenty of low hanging fruit for romance fanfics. Even I wrote two fanfics of my own world (unpublished but my BFF enjoyed the raunchy one a lot).

There is a reason why I made my books hinting romantic dalliances between characters. There's plenty of low hanging fruit for romance fanfics. Even I wrote two fanfics of my own world (unpublished but my BFF enjoyed the raunchy one a lot).
I am working hard drawing the art for my Haptics book. And my BFF has started to demand me to write a sequel for the sole excuse of showcasing the protagonist's pet. And I have zero intentions of writing a sequel because the plan from the start was it would be a standalone.

I haven't shared much of my writing progress. I continue editing my Haptics book and have drawn a whopping 4 unique art pieces for 4 of the current extant 16 chapters. Been meddling with Calibre last night trying to make em work.

Been doing a drawing challenge where I draw Talgel in other styles to force myself out of my comfort zone. So I drew her in a Neon Genesis Evangelion style. Oddly, the hardest thing to draw was not the eyes, but the odd tilt in the ears. 😲

I feel Cym would carry the helm of the book if Leenx was further incapacitated. I could see a book from her POV where she becomes less jealous of Leenx's fortune and becomes more proactive in removing the family curse.
