My friend said appearances are the first to slip when depressed, I replied, "Yeah, if you're an AMATEUR. PROS know you gotta be sure to dress nicely, and be well groomed so no one will guess the all-consuming black hole level of depression hiding just beneath the pretty veneer. 😎👉👉"

Dumb little guy doesn't understand that some dogs don't have fur evolved for cold environments.
Don't tell him about doggy booties, and how even the big fluffy dogs need to wear them in Alaskan winters, or he might have an aneurism

The more time I spend around other cats, the more I realize how very un-cat-like Nux is.

This week is a trial run to see if this kitten will be Nux's new bff, or if I'll be driving 10-12 hours back to the rescue next weekend.
Nux was so excited to meet him. They played and played...but then he didn't go home & Nux was like >:(
