When I started out, I used to rush home on lunchbreaks to get extra shots in. Laying on the floor to shoot on my crappy porch, or my coffee table in my living room. Everything overfiltered, just excited to be sharing stuff instead of expected to be sharing stuff.

Stephen’s and your points remind me of a computer games mag a friend and I used to read in our lunchbreaks in 1989-90. Can’t remember what it was but the writing was very funny (to 13-14yo anyhow) and totally accessible - I had played none of the games but it was a great read.
