Things I can now add to my list of life experiences: Getting stuck in a lift and needing to call an emergency engineer out. Thankfully I was only trapped for about 20 minutes as the engineer was already on his way to campus to fix a different lift.

Today is turning rapidly turning into a blast synthwave into my brain to get through mindless tasks. Except I forgot to pick up my good headphones and I'm in an open plan office space so instead I'm relying on caffeine to fuel my focus and awaiting the inevitable crash.

With The Words We Leave Behind at the printers I'm finally getting around to working on SSBN again by running through a series of test draws that have already highlighted how rough the current ashcan is.

Does anyone else have a cat that likes to play fetch? We're assuming Halley lived with a dog at some point given how often she drops toys at our feet and chases after them.
