I really don't think people in the progressive/left organizing world of Chicago realize that it's quite possible Kat Abugazaleh wins out over Biss in spite of everything, and that this would be an existential crisis for Chicago progressives.

Some juice back in the building after a big Naz Reid swat and Anthony Edwards bucket on his first possession of the 4Q

Wolves keeping pace with the red hot shooting Bulls, who are now 16/34 from deep (47%)

Chicago has shot 53.2%, 43.5% and 39.5% in their 3 recent wins.

I want Chicago to win, because the city deserves a win. And if LA wins, the city just goes "meh".
January 19, 2026 at 2:47 AM
i need chicago to tie this and then play like 3 scoreless OT periods before someone finally wins

By the same token, the administration did withdraw from L.A. and Chicago. The system is not holding, but it is fighting. That's what I like to tell myself, anyway. Whether it wins I don't know.

This weekend marks the first playoff matchup between the Bears and Rams since a fateful winter day in 1986.

We took a look back at the “Chicago Tonight” coverage of the sights and sounds of one of the most important Bears wins in franchise history. https://to.wttw.com/4jPN5yo
The Bears Beat the Rams for the 1986 NFC Championship. Relieve the Sights and Sounds of That Game
The Bears are meeting the Rams in another playoff game. We go back to 1986 to relive the NFC Championship Game the Bears won against the Rams on their way to Super Bowl XX.

As a lions fan just like whatever either Stafford wins or Johnson does. But Chicago hasn't won in as long so I'm kind of hoping they win? Sort of? But I also hate the bears with the burning passion of a thousand suns because fuck them for winning the NFC north and we didn't make the playoffs. 😭

I think Chicago-LA-DC was their A-A line, Minneapolis is their Stalingrad, and New York would be their Kursk. The tamer western/Med fronts are elections: 2024 was their Blitzkrieg, 2026 will be our soft underbelly of Congress. Last year’s off-year wins were the end of the beginning.
January 16, 2026 at 6:27 AM
For example both here in Chicago and in Minneapolis you saw local/state cops attacking protestors and protecting ICE agents consistently, despite claims otherwise. Legally any “wins” against ICE are toothless since there is no one to enforce them.

Chicago won the second half 28-6 and now have seven 4th-quarter wins this season.
January 11, 2026 at 5:18 AM
We need to be vigilant about this shit because the Bears are going to turn any wins and public good will into bargaining chips to get Chicago & Illinois to foot another half-billion $$$ for their stadium.

Fuck that

2025 saw 71 lawsuits filed, 51 cases ruled on, 40 wins secured. That means billions in education, research, FEMA, and SNAP funding protected. That means troops off the streets in LA, Portland, and Chicago. That means birthright citizenship remains the law of the land. And so, so, much more.

FINAL: Chicago wins a laugher, 7-3, against Jordan Binnington and the Blues.

The Blackhawks, without their top two centers, are 4-0-0 in 2026, and 5-1-1 since returning from Christmas break. They're two points out of the wild card.

And Connor Bedard is on the verge of returning.

On this day in 1991, Fergie Jenkins was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Born in Chatham, Ontario in 1942, he won the Cy Young Award and recorded 284 wins and 3,192 strikeouts in his career. He was a 20-game winner for seven seasons and was a three-time All-Star.

Most political coverage is written by people who’ve never had to hit a fundraising goal or count a floor vote.

Chicago 312 is meant for people who have sat through 12-hour hearings and watched "progressive wins" get stripped for parts in committee.

That's a Coach of the Year performance.

Mike MacDonald won 14 games vs. tough schedule. His defense is No. 1 and so well schemed.

Preseason expectations (in expected wins) was same as Chicago, NE.

Checks every box!

Love you Mina (and I love Mike Macdonald) but the 2025 NFL Coach of the Year is Ben Johnson, Chicago Bears. Upgrading Seattle’s 10 wins to 14 is impressive, but flipping Chicago from 5-12 to 11-6 is much more impressive, not to mention the culture overhaul, all in his first season.

Nick Foligno wins it for the Blackhawks in the shootout and Chicago remains UNDEFEATED in 2026!

The caps have a moral obligation to beat the Chicago franchise. That franchise is still without Bedard and has lost 8 of their last 10. Inexplicably, both of those wins were against Dallas.

The Illinois Fighting Illini of 1894.

They would go 4-3, with wins over Wabash, Lake Forest, Northwestern, and Pastime Athletic Club and losses to Chicago Athletic Association, Purdue, and the Indianapolis Light Artillery.

You can take your car to a train station and take that train into the city. We got all sorts of urban lines that head to Chicago. It might even cost you less and it will free you up. Driving sucks. No congestion pricing. Less cars. Better for the environment. Everybody wins
