42.9% of respondents to a poll run by Lake County Clerk Anthony Vega said YES to #RankedChoiceVoting, with only 23.9% opposed and 33.2% neutral. @lakecountyclerk.bsky.social told the LC News-Sun: “our voters are engaged and care about the process. They see a place for ranked-choice voting.”

Ranked choice voting is a simple upgrade to the way we vote that gives voters more choices and more power! By letting voters rank candidates in order of preference, you can vote for who you really want — without fear of "splitting the vote."

Last night, we had our DuPage County chapter meeting! It also doubled as a going-away party for our amazing DuPage County chapter lead Samrah, who is going to Brown University for college! We're so thankful for the work that she has done to advance democracy reform in Illinois!
