42.9% of respondents to a poll run by Lake County Clerk Anthony Vega said YES to #RankedChoiceVoting, with only 23.9% opposed and 33.2% neutral. @lakecountyclerk.bsky.social told the LC News-Sun: “our voters are engaged and care about the process. They see a place for ranked-choice voting.”

We are saddened to learn of the passing of former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar (g. ’91-’99). Governor Edgar was one of the most respected governors in our history, leaving office with approval ratings >60% and winning reelection by the largest margins in Illinois history.
