F-4J of VF-33 Tarsiers.

Photo by Benjamin Donnelly: "dad got this picture of a VF-33 F-4J during a fueling stopover at Malmstrom AFB, in early 1976. 5568 had originally been delivered to VF-33 in 1969; it was upgraded to a F-4S sometime after 1977".

Despite their size, they are fierce predators and are the only primates in the world that are 100% carnivorous, snacking on insects, lizards, and even small birds! 🦗🐦

There are over 10 different species of tarsier... found them all in our blog!

Perhaps not germane, but could someone give just half of Miller's eyelid real estate to Kash Patel? Then they'd each have eyelids in the normal range. I'm tired of looking at this pit viper and his tarsier.

(Okay, tarsiers are cute. Patel is not.)

tables from around the world. It would be so interesting to see.

Girraffes, The Great Eared Nightjar, shoebills, The Japanese snow fairy, Tapirs, Emperor Penguins, Dairy Cows, Binturongs, Tarsiers, Chickens, Aye Ayes, King Cobras, Pufferfish, and even the African Black Sea Hare all in one habitat.

How come we only need to get ducks in a row? What about mongooses? Ptarmigans? Tarsiers?

Monkey Day is all about celebrating monkeys & everything related to them, like lemurs, tarsiers, apes, & other primates. Take time learn more about the various types of monkeys & primates globally, the challenges they encounter, & how we can support them. 🐵

Worldwide, December 14 is Monkey Day, an unofficial holiday celebrating all things simian, from monkeys and apes to lemurs and tarsiers. -> 🧵 #YearinYarn

I’d like to say middle ground. Tarsiers are about 3-6 inches in height. So I just made my sona a short boy at 3’10.

I'll add that she was inspired by tarsiers from Prismata. I mean, it doesn't really matter for any practical purpose. But it matters to me.
I miss Prismata (and my younger self, I guess).
Tracy is a tarsier who adds trace.

Try saying that three times fast.

We were told not to take flash photos of the tarsiers and remain silent lest they become stressed and drown themselves in their water bowls or bang their heads against the walls. No touching either, as they let out quiet screams inaudible to the human ear.
Tarsiers. One of the most clear examples of animal suicide would most likely be the suicidal behavior of tarsiers that are kept in captivity. Tarsiers are nervous and shy by nature, and do not do well in captivity.

Tarsiers are easily stressed. Hugot to the max.
This Gollum of Bohol is the Philippine tarsier, a nocturnal creature that cannot survive in a cage. It is an animal that thrives only when free. I love how he holds for that branch in the local forest, "his Precious".

Makassar tarsiers (Tarsius fuscus) occur on the southwestern peninsula of Sulawesi. Uniquely, they make their nests in honeycomb formations near the entrances of small karst caves. Threatened by habitat loss, use of agricultural pesticides and herbicides, and predation by domestic pets. Vulnerable.

Niemitz's tarsiers (Tarsius niemitzi) are found on the Togian Island archipelago of Tomini Bay, Sulawesi, Indonesia. Their diet is 100% live animal prey, mainly insects and small vertebrates. Threatened by habitat loss, agricultural pesticides, and predation by domestic animals. Endangered.
