I'd rather cancel my birthday lunch this weekend. It was supposed to be small, but I'd rather not see anyone right now. I don't see anything good happening. This must be karmic retribution, and I ought to bear this patiently, stoically, with goodwill, and with no malice or anger in my heart.

I beg you, if any younger relatives should stumble upon my Bluesky account, please for the love of God, don't become like me. Be successful. Be good. Do your homework. Don't take a break from your studies in your early twenties to work. It's hard to get back in. Finish your studies and live well.
